May 2025 – Chapter Annual Meeting At our last meeting of the year, we welcomed our scholarship winners, recognized our Good Citizen Award winner, and installed our new slate of officers. We gave a special “Thank you!” to our wonderful outgoing regent, Marcia Wyatt, who has been our intrepid leader for four great years.

February 2025 – George Washington Birthday Luncheon

December 2024 – Domestic Patriots: Seven Women of Valor – Sarah Franklin Bache, daughter of Benjamin Franklin, presented General Washington with over 2,000 shirts for his soldiers; Penelope Barker, a southern lady, obtained women’s signatures on a declaration that no British goods would be purchased; Lydia Darragh, a Quaker, spied for the Americans; Sybil Ludington, a teenage female Paul Revere, raised the alarm in Putnam County, New York that the British were coming; Eve Randolph, an enslaved woman in Williamsburg, Virginia ran away to the British but returned home; Molly Pitcher, a camp follower, pitched in during a battle; Prudence Wright, a patriot, led a female militia in capturing British soldiers and intercepting dispatches.
